In collaboration with Templeton Built, the Westover Residence was designed as a modern home in a primarily traditional neighborhood in Portland’s west hills. Embedded in the side of a steep site, the design utilized large windows and skylights to frame spectacular views and bring in tons of natural light. The 5-bedroom, 4-bath home is centered around the owner’s love for entertaining and features an open floor plan with plenty of access to exterior decks and patios. The dark modern farmhouse exterior was designed to accent the light interiors, which feature white cabinets, oak floors, and high ceilings.
