Custom Home Design
A Home Designed Around You
Custom home design begins with understanding how you live, what you value, and how your home should support both everyday routines and future needs.
Lifestyle-Driven Planning
We explore daily routines, priorities, space needs, and long-term goals to establish a thoughtful foundation for the home’s design.
Site-Responsive Design
We consider views, daylight, privacy, topography, neighborhood context, and existing conditions to create a home grounded in its surroundings.
Personalized Design Development
Through collaborative review and refinement, we shape layouts, materials, details, and character into a cohesive design that feels distinctly personal.
Why Custom Home Design Matters
A thoughtful home supports the way life unfolds.
Every decision is guided by how you live, gather, work, rest, and move through the home, creating spaces that feel intuitive and uniquely yours.
We carefully organize relationships between rooms, circulation, natural light, and outdoor connections to support comfort and everyday usability.
We consider changing needs, flexibility, durability, and future use so the home continues to serve you well over time.
Garden Home Residence
This mid-century Portland home was reimagined as a modern, moody residence with a more functional layout, vaulted spaces, and stronger connections to natural light.
The transformation included a reconfigured floor plan, custom stair tower, private rear entry, and expanded primary suite, creating a home tailored to the client’s lifestyle and design vision.
